✝️ The Lord Jesus Christ
The Son of God, the Savior of the World, and the King of Glory.
🌟 Introduction
At the heart of Christianity News Daily and the entire mission of The Uttermost Gospel Network (TUGN) is one central truth:
Jesus Christ is Lord.
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Word made flesh, and the only begotten Son of God who came to save humanity from sin and eternal death.
“And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.” — 1 John 4:14 (KJV)
This page is dedicated to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, emphasizing His miraculous birth, divine mission, and sinless life. He performed many healings and teachings, showcasing His love for humanity. His sacrificial death on the cross offers redemption for all, followed by His victorious resurrection, which conquers sin and death. We also anticipate His soon-coming return in glory, fulfilling God’s promises and bringing hope to believers.
📜 The Prophecies of His Coming
The prophets of old foretold the coming of the Messiah long before He was born in Bethlehem. Every prophecy pointed to Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan.
- “Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.” — Isaiah 7:14
- “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given… and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” — Isaiah 9:6
- “But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah… out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel.” — Micah 5:2
From Genesis to Malachi, the Scriptures proclaimed the coming of the Redeemer — the Seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15), the Star out of Jacob (Numbers 24:17), and the Servant of the Lord (Isaiah 53).
👶 The Miraculous Birth of Christ
Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary, conceived by the Holy Spirit, fulfilling divine prophecy.
“Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise… that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.” — Matthew 1:18 20
He was born in Bethlehem, wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in a manger — the King of kings entering the world in humility.
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us… full of grace and truth.” — John 1:14
The angels declared to the shepherds,
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” — Luke 2:11
From His birth, the heavens testified that God had visited His people (Luke 1:68).
🕊️ His Divine Identity
Jesus is not merely a prophet or moral teacher — He is God manifest in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
He is the Eternal Word who was with God and is God (John 1:1).
He is the Image of the invisible God, the Creator of all things (Colossians 1:15-17).
He is the Son of the Living God, confessed by Peter in Matthew 16:16.
When Thomas saw the risen Christ, he declared,
“My Lord and my God.” — John 20:28
Jesus Himself affirmed,
“I and my Father are one.” — John 10:30
🕊️ His Earthly Ministry
Jesus began His public ministry around the age of 30, preaching, healing, and performing miracles that confirmed His divine authority.
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me… to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives.” — Luke 4:18
His Teachings:
- Repentance and the Kingdom of God: “Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” — Matthew 4:17
- Love and Forgiveness: “Love your enemies, bless them that curse you.” — Matthew 5:44
- Faith and Obedience: “If ye love me, keep my commandments.” — John 14:15
- Salvation and New Birth: “Ye must be born again.” — John 3:7
His Miracles:
Jesus healed the sick, opened blind eyes, raised the dead, calmed storms, fed thousands, and cast out demons. Each miracle testified that He was the promised Messiah (John 20:30–31).
✝️ His Mission: To Save the World
Jesus came not to condemn, but to save.
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” — Luke 19:10
He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29).
Through His Obedience unto death, He fulfilled the Law, satisfied divine justice, and opened the way to eternal life for all who believe.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” — John 3:16
💔 His Suffering and Sacrifice
In complete Obedience to the Father, Jesus willingly took upon Himself the sins of humanity. Despite being innocent and without sin, He endured betrayal, arrest, physical abuse, mockery, and ultimately crucifixion.
“He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities.” — Isaiah 53:5
“Christ also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God.” — 1 Peter 3:18
On the cross, He cried.
“It is finished.” — John 19:30
Through Jesus, God settled the debt at that moment, fully paying the debt of sin. The veil of the temple was torn in two, symbolizing that access to God was now open through the blood of Jesus Christ.
⚰️ His Death and Burial
Jesus died physically and was buried in a tomb owned by Joseph of Arimathea (Matthew 27:57-60).
His death was real, witnessed by Roman soldiers and His followers.
His crucifixion was divinely ordained, as proven by His precise fulfillment of Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53.
“He made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death.” — Isaiah 53:9
🌅 His Resurrection
Three days later, as He promised, Jesus Christ rose from the dead, conquering sin, death, and the grave.
“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said.” — Matthew 28:6
“But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.” — 1 Corinthians 15:20
His resurrection is the cornerstone of the Christian faith.
Without it, there is no salvation, no hope, and no victory.
“Because I live, ye shall live also.” — John 14:19
🌈 His Ascension and Exaltation
After forty days with His disciples, Jesus ascended into heaven and now sits at the right hand of God the Father, interceding for believers.
“And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.” — Luke 24:51
“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.” — Philippians 2:9 11
He reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords, awaiting the appointed time to return and establish His millennial kingdom.
🔥 His Return and Eternal Kingdom
Jesus promised to come again.
“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself.” — John 14:3
At His Second Coming, He will return in power and glory to judge the nations and reign from Jerusalem for a thousand years (Revelation 20:4–6).
“Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him.” — Revelation 1:7
Those who believe in Him shall reign with Him forever, while those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life.” — John 3:36
❤️ His Promise of Salvation
No one but Jesus Christ can provide salvation.
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” — Acts 4:12
To receive eternal life, one must believe in His death and resurrection and confess Him as Lord.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9
Jesus still calls today:
“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28
👑 The Everlasting Glory of Christ
He is the Lamb upon the throne, worshiped forever by angels and saints:
“Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.” — Revelation 5:12
One day, every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).
To Him belong all praise, honor, and dominion — forever and ever.
Amen.
